Outre High Tex Heat Resistant Fiber Wigs

I'm coming a little different today because I'm soooo excited about what I did to this wig the other day.  At this local beauty supply on Camp Creek I bough some Outre Synthetic wigs.  They were a great deal, $19.99 each.  I hate having to style wigs so that's why I buy synthetic, they're already styled to my liking.

I bought maybe 4 or 5 of those wigs, again, I couldn't pass up on this great deal.  Out of those wigs I bought 2 that were High Tex Fiber.  It says that it can stand heat up to 400 degrees.  It's a label that looks like this:
I thought then....that's interesting.  My Outre wigs Missy and Salina were the two that were High Tex Fiber.  My Salina wig I absolutely love above them all!  I would buy this wig 7 more times if I had to.  Salina looks like this:
Salina on me:

I've never altered this wig in any way.  I probably won't either except for I've trimmed the ends a little because I wear it so much it's a little frayed at the ends, but I forgot it was high tex.  So I wanted to do the ends with heat.  Before I ruin my perfect wig I needed to experiment.  I thought about my other wig "Missy".  I thought I could do something with all those curls but the more and more I played with it......It was just a bushy Diana Ross mess.  The "Missy" wig looks like this on the cover:

Nice right?  It is on the model but mine....ohhh boy!  Not so much.  I think with my brushing it it just made it worse.  Saturday I was getting my stuff ready for church and I was like, maybe I should try putting heat to that wig I can do nothing with.  I got it out and set my flat irons to 300 degrees.  I started straightened it out and by God....it did work.  I had to turn down the flat iron to the lowest setting and make sure to go through it very quickly but it worked.  By time I thought about taking a pic I was halfway done.  So you see high Diana Ross and half straight.

So after I finished straightening the whole wig I was impressed and extremely happy.  This wig looked better than my sew in weave!  So, from now on if I see a High Tex Fiber wig...I'm buying it!  This was the final results:

I even did a video in which I wanted to do it for another purpose but I might as well do it here so you can see more of the wig.
Hope you enjoy and yes I do love OUTRE wigs, especially the High Tex Heat Resistant Fiber ones.
